Welcome to the 2024-25 School Year! We are so excited to have the students back in the building with us for a year of learning and fun! They did a terrific job finding their classrooms, navigating the cafeteria lines, and building relationships today- and it's only Day 1! Please see just a couple reminders below to help support a positive start to the year:
- All parents need to access ParentVue to complete the Annual Back to School Packet. This is imperative to not only update any emergency contact information, but also to gain access to important information throughout the year regarding your child's academic progress. Please use this link to access ParentVue and if you need any assistance accessing ParentVue, please contact our office at 703-330-0427.
- We ask that parents please do not come into the building with your child during arrival. We are working on students learning the routines and have many staff members available to assist your child if needed. We need them to get used to the procedures for arrival and appreciate your support with this.
- Eventually parents will be welcomed into the building to have lunch with their child if they choose, but we ask that you please refrain from this for the first few weeks so students can get used to the routines. I will send out a message to parents when we are ready to start inviting them into lunch. Thanks for your patience and understanding!
- All visitors much have a physical government issued ID to enter the building or pick up your child. This is a PWCS regulation and we appreciate everyone's attention to this important matter.
- Please do not park in the bus loop during school hours. This lane is reserved for buses, daycare vans, and emergency vehicles. Thank you!
- Early dismissal requests end at 3:30 every day to provide us adequate time to dismiss students safely. Thank you!
